This engaging and interactive webinar series will provide you with new perspectives on strengthening identity and belonging at school through teaching and learning about the Black Canadian experience. Building on previous professional learning offerings, this new five-part series uses videos, music, spoken word, and more to build teacher confidence by applying historical foundations needed to address the current realities of Black Canadians. Focusing on horizontal and vertical alignment within the curriculum, this series is intended to address the calls from parents of Black children, educators and leaders to move equitable and inclusive education forward.
