This project-based collection helps students complete the section task in “How should governments in Canada respond to political and economic issues?” They will follow instructions in an Edwin Slide Deck to research how governments and citizens have responded to environmental issues. They will then choose one issue and propose solutions for how citizens can take action in response to this issue. They will then summarize their ideas in a presentation to the class, in a method of their choosing. Two worksheets will assist them in organizing their ideas. This collection may be used in conjunction with Edwin’s “The Environment: Political and Economic Issues” collection.
