Canada History Week encourages all Canadians to learn more about the people and events that have shaped this country. It was established in 2013 by the Department of Canadian Heritage. Each year has a theme. The theme for 2021 is Indigenous History, which will highlight the diversity of Indigenous languages, cultures, histories, and perspectives.
