Jamie Anderson, B. Ed, MA. Jamie has more than 9 years of experience teaching grades 5 to 12 in different communities in Alberta, with a focus on Social Studies, English Language Arts, Mathematics, digital arts, and student leadership. He is currently a part-time student at the University of Calgary, pursuing a PhD in Educational Research with a focus on curriculum and learning. His passion for educational technology stems from a commitment to accessible and inclusive learning experiences for all students. He is particularly excited about strengths-based approaches in inquiry and project-based learning. Most recently, he supported high school students in leveraging their virtual classroom volunteer project into an internationally recognized and award-winning initiative called The Joy4All Project. He looks forward to working with more of his educator colleagues to fold ed tech into their practice in ways that make sense for them.
