Joyce is a K-10 Ontario Certified Teacher. She holds Bachelor Degrees in Psychology and Education from York University in addition to a variety of additional qualifications. Joyce has taught with the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board for 18 years as an Elementary Teacher in Grades 5-8. She has led Professional Development in Junior Divisional Planning and Curriculum, as well as the Integration of Technology with Religious Education and Faith Formation. Joyce has participated in a variety of committees and teams and assisted with the development of school Smart Goals and best practices related to literacy, numeracy and religious education. Joyce has completed her Integration of Information and Computer Technology in Instruction additional qualification, which is evident in her approach to infusing technology and media in her pedagogical practice.
