Lorie is an educator with over 20 years of experience in the public and post-secondary educational systems. She is currently faculty with the Nova Scotia Community College, where she designs and teaches online chemistry and math courses for the School of Access, Education and Language. A former high school teacher, Lorie taught math and sciences in grades 9-12 and led board-level workshops on technology integration in the classroom. Lorie’s most recent extracurricular pursuit has been coaching an elementary First Lego Robotics team, where she enjoyed engaging students in creative problem-solving using technology.
