As the calendar year comes to an end, days shorten and nights become chilly and dark. For many communities, however, December is a month warmed and brightened by the celebration of relationships. From preparing gifts and treats to helping neighbours shovel snow and stay safe, the season offers many reminders of how strong connections and relations keep us happy and healthy. With this spirit of togetherness in mind, the Feature theme for December is Allyship and Cooperation. Collections explore how different identities, relationships, and communities are represented in media, sports, and government, as well as fun and engaging activities in science and math.
